Solar Panel Choices

REC panels header

Both panels offered are from established, bankable companies having a large share of the solar panel market. They are all-black, for a sleek look. Although a microinverter, optimizer or central inverter may fail over the life of your system, the odds of a solar panel failing is minuscule—they have no moving parts other than electrons. The panels also routinely exceed their efficiency/output ratings. Your odds of ever having to make a solar panel warranty claim are exceedingly small.

The REC panel is slightly more efficient, producing 92% of first year power (vs 86% for QCells), but costs .30¢ more per watt.
